Born on November 27, 1999, P/CDT Cabasis grew up in a household filled with love and determination. Her father, ๐๐๐ฐ๐ข๐ง ๐. ๐๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ, toiled as an electrician, while her mother, ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐. ๐๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ, dedicated herself to being a housewife. Despite the challenges they faced, Camille found solace in her faith and the unconditional support of her family.
Driven by a passion for service, she took up Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from Batangas State University, P/CDT Cabasis embarked on her journey to fulfill her dreams of becoming a police officer. Her academic prowess shone through as she emerged as the ๐ญ๐จ๐ฉ-๐ซ๐๐ง๐ค๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ in 2019.
However, it was a serendipitous encounter with destiny that redirected P/CDT Camilleโs path towards the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA). A call from the Chief of Police led her to a PNPA walk-in application, where her exceptional academic record, being a ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐, earned her exemption from the exams, paving the way for her entry into the prestigious institution.
As P/CDT Cabasis stepped foot into the hallowed halls of the Academy, she was confronted with the daunting task of transitioning from civilian life to the regimented lifestyle of a cadet. Yet, armed with her motto, “๐พ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ฐ ๐ป๐ฏ๐ฌ ๐ณ๐ถ๐น๐ซ, ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐,” and fueled by faith, she embraced the challenges with grace and resilience.
Throughout her rigorous training, P/CDT Camilleโs faith and determination remained unshakeable. She drew strength from her belief in divine timing and the unconditional support of her family, friends, and mentors. Her journey was not without its trials, but each obstacle served as a stepping stone towards her ultimate goal. ALl of these are what made P/CDT CABASIS achieve greater heights.
