𝙒𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙘―𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙩, 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣―𝙮𝙚𝙩 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣’𝙨 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙣, 𝙋𝙊𝙇𝙄𝘾𝙀 𝘾𝘼𝘿𝙀𝙏 𝙆𝙍𝙄𝙎𝙏𝙄𝙉𝘼 𝘼𝙍𝘼𝙂𝙊𝙉𝘾𝙄𝙇𝙇𝙊 𝘼𝘾𝙄𝘿𝙍𝙀 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙛𝙖𝙧 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙚.

Nurtured in her loving abode in Tacloban City, Leyte, PCDT Acidre’s sense of responsibility and optimism took root early on. As her father’s constant companion in his line of duty, she witnessed the realities of police work firsthand—an experience that naturally cultivated her inclination toward public service.

Raised in a family where the pursuit of excellence is their ordinary, PCDT Acidre is the youngest of three accomplished siblings, the daughter of a devoted housewife, and most notably, the protégé of retired PBGEN ROEL B ACIDRE, an esteemed member of PNPA TAGAPAMAYAPA Class of 1990. Destiny seemed to echo louder when she had the same serial number—004—as her father. A coincidence, perhaps. But to those who know her story, it feels less like chance and more like a symbolic passing of the torch.

Breaking free from conventional gender roles and societal norms, 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧’𝙨 𝙙𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙧, and his ironclad legacy, embarked on a journey of service that spanned nearly 34 years, serving as her benchmark as she forges her path to brilliance and success.

Living in the shadows of a great man has only catalyzed her to build a good service reputation. Instead of shrinking under the weight of expectation, she’s grown stronger, more determined to carve her name in the history of service. PBGEN ACIDRE’s legacy lives in his distinguished record and the spark he ignited in his daughter. As she continues to break barriers in a male-dominated field, P/CDT ACIDRE proudly carries her father’s legacy, 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜.
The philosophy between personal plans and God’s instilled in her the mantra “𝘿𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚.”

Inspired in the promise of 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙗𝙨 16:9, “𝙒𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙨, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥.” God has always been her refuge in times of uncertainty and rejection. Her faith anchored her despite the limiting circumstances, and what once felt like a distant ambition soon became her reality. The four corners of Leyte Normal University as a 2nd year college undergraduate with a Bachelor of Elementary Education did not restrain her aspirations of becoming a PNPA Cadet and a future police officer. PCDT Acidre is a breathing testimony of the aphorism “𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙚𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙄 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙧𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.”

Her commitment to excellence radiates within the Academy. She actively participates in various leadership roles, serving on the Silent Drill Speaker’s Board, representing her peers as an Honor Committee Representative, shaping the narrative as the Editor-in-Chief of the “Kalendaryo” Corps Publication, and currently 4th Battalion Cadet Relations Officer. Remarkably, she also passed the Civil Service Examination 2024 with 92.03% rating, a feat that brings pride and honor to the Philippine National Police Academy.

While fully aware of the sacrifices that a life in law enforcement demands, she has embraced the calling with unyielding resolve. As her cadetship journey nears its end, POLICE CADET KRISTINA ARAGONCILLO ACIDRE stands on the threshold of her legacy. While her path may mirror the triumphs and trials of her father’s, she is the author of her own story.

Graduating as the 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙂𝙇𝘼𝙒𝙄𝙉 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙛 2025, her parting words are a powerful reflection of the mindset that brought her here: “There is always a cheat code for everything. It is not a one-size-fits-all; you must discover what works best. Train hard, but do not exhaust yourself. I was not the strongest, but neither was I the weakest link. 𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙗𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙧𝙚…𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙠𝙨.”
