His commands reverberate authority among the maroon line, superior and mighty like Zeus – the Olympian God.
With his rock-hard and solidly built physique that seems impenetrable, Police Cadet Paiton is well-sculpted to become the face of an ideal cadet. But beyond this thick armor, he is a man of tremendous commitment, unshakeable faith, and burning passion, all of which gained him the title of Regimental Commander.
Prior to being chosen among the few, he dwells in a humble home in Magallanes, Cavite as a responsible son and brother to four. There, he learned the reality of life as he exhausted himself in cultivating and plowing the soil of his family’s farmland under the radiating and scorching heat of the sun. Just like a seed sown, his parents never failed on leading a modest life molding their sons’ personalities to the pinnacle of ideal character.
Determined to strive for a better life for his family, PCDT Paiton worked really hard but everything does not seem to suffice. At the brink of being discouraged, just like a message from Hermes descended, he heard the news from the television regarding the graduating cadets of the Philippine National Police Academy as they throw their shakus to conclude their journey to the road less traveled. Enthralled, PCDT Paiton felt the warmth of enthusiasm once again as he grasped the burning desire to heed this calling and decided to set foot on the sacred grounds of the Philippine National Police Academy where only the finest few were chosen.
The young Paiton only had in him his wisdom and discipline as his sword and shield, instilled in him by his parents, as he was engulfed in the different stages and trials that will determine his worth of becoming one of the long maroon line. Victorious, the once humble farmer plowing the fields and tending the cows is now a cadet in maroon uniform parading the ground and leading men. He faced every struggle opposing him with bravery and dedication – a true nature of the Bravo Bulls. He proved that he is braver, bigger, and bolder than the barricades – that nothing can obstruct his way. He made history by becoming the first Caviteño to serve as the Regimental Commander of the Cadet Corps Philippine National Police. His leadership has inspired every cadet to keep in their mind that they are bigger than the obstacles in front of them.
Winning supremacy over himself, PCDT Paiton is now a warrior of Justice, Integrity, and Service ready to take heads on the challenges of the real McCoy and take the lead as a Public Safety Officer. Equipped with wisdom, strength, and courage, PCDT Paiton is ready to descend from Olympus and make history as an Iskolar Para sa Bayan.
