ETCHING HISTORY OF A LEADERSHIP VOYAGE: PNPA MASIDTALAK CLASS OF 2023 GRADUATES FROM THE ACADEMY

    SILANG, CAVITE – On March 10, 2023, the Philippine National Police Academy rendered Testimonial Parade and Review in honor of his excellency, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Romualdez Marcos Jr, Republic of the Philippines, as guest of honor and speaker, spearheaded by the Director, PMGEN Eric E Noble, during the 44th Commencement Exercises for the MASIDTALAK Class of 2023 held at PBGEN Cicero Campos Grandstand, Silang, Cavite.

    Composed of 208 brave young men and women, the MASIDTALAK has proven themselves worthy to be entitled “Iskolars Para sa Bayan” who will serve the country and the Filipino people as warriors of Justice, Integrity, and Service.

    Appointed by Hon. Benjamin C Abalos Jr, Secretary of the Interior and Local Government, a total of 186 of the graduating cadets will be assigned as Lieutenants joining the Philippine National Police (PNP), 11 are Inspectors joining the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), and 11 are Inspectors joining the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

    The cream of the crop, PCDT Francis D Geneta, who hails from Naujan, Oriental Mindoro, was awarded as the TOP 1 of the class and received the Presidential Kampilan Award, PCDT John Rafael S Desiderio, from Malibay, Pasay City, was hailed as the TOP 2, and JCDT Mary Louise M Moyano was awarded as the TOP 3 of the class.

    During his keynote speech, President Marcos quoted to the graduating cadets, “Remember that your diligence, perseverance and commitment have led you to this moment but know that this is only the beginning of your ceaseless pursuit of honor, integrity, and service”.

    Also present in the event were Senator Francis Tolentino, Congressman Roy Loyola, Cavite 5th District Representative, Hon. Juanito Victor C Remulla Jr, Governor of the province of Cavite, Hon. Alston Kevin A Anarna, Silang Cavite Mayor, Atty. Alberto A Bernardo, NAPOLCOM Vice Chairperson and Executive Officer, PLTGEN Rhodel O Sermonia, PNP Officer-in-charge, JDIR Allan S Iral, BJMP Chief, FDIR Louie S Puracan, Director of BFP, and Admiral Artemio M Abu, Philippine Coast Guard Commandant.
