From the onset, the processing for class 2023 began with 14,734 optimistic young men and women taking the examination with only 1,330 applicants making it through the PNPA Cadet Admission Test around the country. Despite the rigorous selection process, 284 determined individuals were admitted, and from their ranks emerged only 208 graduatesβa testament to their resilience and dedication.
Under the visionary guidance of Director PMGEN Eric E Noble, the Class of 2023 achieved remarkable and breaking history during their tenure as the ruling class:
β’ They pioneered the groundbreaking Doctors to the Barracks Program.
β’ Implemented the deployment of Cadet Medical Officer of the Day (CMOD)
β’ Championed cadet welfare and discipline, earning accolades such as the 2nd Prize in the PNP Vlog Fest for their steadfast advocacy.
β’ The PNPA Moot Court Team secured victory in the International Humanitarian Law Role Play Challenge and was acclaimed champion in the National Moot Court Competition 2022.
β’ Their dedication to excellence was evident as the PNPA received two special awards at the 44th Catholic Mass Media Awards.
β’ Lastly, setting new academic standards, the Class of 2023 produced 116 Deanβs Listers in a single semester and 64 cadets receiving the prestigious Directorβs Badge.
After two years in officership, they continue to uphold a legacy of distinction and integrity in public service.
β’ PLT Juhan displayed exceptional courage in a daring rescue mission, earning the Medalya ng Kadakilaan and exemplifying the classβs commitment to public safety.
β’ PLT Olid was recognized as a Hero Cop for his role in a life-saving mission, receiving the Life Saving Award.
β’ PLT Vergara of the Davao City Police Office was honored as the Outstanding City-Level Junior Police Commissioned Officer for 2024.
β’ PLT Alviar ranked Top 2 nationwide in the First-Class Police Officer Promotional Examination.
β’ In sports, PLT Kasla demonstrated mastery in Karatedo, winning gold medals in both Kata and Kumite at the 2023 AFP-PNP-PCG-BJMP-BFP-BuCor Olympics.
