Meet Cadet 1C Ragasa, John Rodel Ribuyaco, the Echo Company Academics Representative. He came from a simple family in Bayubay Norte, San Vicente, located in the peaceful province of Ilocos Sur. Before entering the academy, he was a college undergraduate of BS Accountancy at Saint Louis University. Despite entering the course of Accountancy, the dream of becoming a policeman like his father still intrigued his interest, the passion to serve and protect the people and the country was still in his mind.

After months of preparation for the PNPACAT, both physically and emotionally, he passed the exam and entered the academy in 2022. With hard work and determination, he endured all of the struggles and challenges that came along his way, from being a sheep, a shearer, to being a shepherd, then finally a steward. As a graduating class, he always works hard because he aims to be a better person and to be a better police officer for the community and the people, and to become an inspiration for aspiring cadets to join the long maroon line of the Philippine National Police Academy.
