In the tranquil coastal town of Anda, Bohol hailed 𝘗𝘖𝘓𝘐𝘊𝘌 𝘊𝘈𝘋𝘌𝘛 𝘔𝘈𝘛𝘐𝘓𝘋𝘌 𝘔𝘈𝘊𝘈𝘊𝘏𝘖𝘙 𝘋𝘌𝘓𝘐𝘎𝘌𝘙𝘖, known as “Maan” to her family and friends, and “Deligee” to her upperclassmen. Born and raised in the serene province of Bohol, she found her path taking a pivotal turn in the bustling city of Cebu, where she would spend her years in pursuit of education and personal growth.
At a young age, she made a bold decision that would reshape her life, leaving the comfort of her parents to live with her siblings in Cebu City. She was only in Grade 4 when she took that brave step, facing the world with quiet determination. Though it was difficult, she understood it was necessary to reach for something greater. That early move taught her to face life with courage, grow through discomfort, and stand firmly alone.
Family has always been the compass guiding her every step, the steady ground beneath her ambitions. Among them, it was her father from whom she drew inspiration. From a young age, she can still recall how his eyes would light up with pride and hope whenever he spoke of the Academy—not merely as a school, but as a crucible where dreams are forged and futures are shaped. His words, spoken with quiet reverence, rooted themselves deep within her. They didn’t just inspire—they ignited. From that moment forward, the image of herself in uniform was no longer just a dream, but a destiny she was determined to fulfill.
Before entering the Academy, she considered herself an average student, but one fueled by an exceptional drive. Though she didn’t always top the class, she showed up with determination. She immersed herself in leadership roles and school activities, juggling responsibilities at home with grit. Through these experiences, she learned balance, strength, compassionate leadership, and the value of discipline under pressure.
Becoming a cadet marked the beginning of a profound transformation. The journey has tested her limits in every way—physically, emotionally, and mentally. She has pushed through long nights without rest, waves of self-doubt, and the ache of homesickness.
But in every trial, she found a reason to press on. Anchored by the purpose that led her to this path, she reminded herself that the dream she carries is far greater than any hardship she faces.
PCDT Deligero offers this message to her underclassmen and those who dream of wearing the uniform: Continue to inspire and be inspired. The path of service is not for the faint of heart. It demands endurance, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to growth. But for those willing to rise through every challenge, to fight with purpose, and to lead with compassion, it is a journey worth taking.

Looking ahead, she envisions returning to her roots— 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘳, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘴𝘺𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘶𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦.
