A humble man with a strong grit and determination hailed from the farmland of ๐๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ฅ๐๐ง, ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐จ๐๐ง๐ ๐ ๐๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฒ where he once sowed his dreams and aspirations of lifting his family out of poverty by becoming a police officer. Armed with nothing but his will to succeed, ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ toiled to overcome the bitter realities of life, and now finishing as the Top 4 of LAYAG-DIWA Class of 2024.
In his pursuit of becoming a public safety officer, he dreamed of entering the Philippine National Police Academy. However, he was not able to pass the (PNPACAT) during his first try. In his second time around, although he passed the entrance examination, he failed the neuro-psychiatric test. Since he had to acquire a job to earn for a living and support his parents, he underwent the During his training, he did not let go of his dream of entering the prestigious halls of the Academy, so he persisted to apply and eventually succeeded to be a part of
Laborious works are not new to him as a farmer. At a very young age, he was able to see how dedicated his parents are to provide for them. The resourcefulness of his father and the ever-supportive attitude of his mother became his fuel to traverse the road less traveled. To add, he could not help but be more motivated because of the support of other people such as of whom he treated as his second mother who made significant contributions during his college years. These utterly ignited his will to strive more and work harder.
In his journey as a cadet, time management became the most challenging thing to do since the rigorous training inside the Academy entails a hectic schedule that both demands physical and mental toughness. He draws strength from his loved ones whenever faced by mountainous adversities. He always bears in mind that he has to survive the rigid training in order to prove to his family that their financial incapacity cannot stop him from fulfilling his dreams.
As he came near to the end of his cadetship, he cannot help but look back on his journey. According to P/CDT BARTE, one of the keys in surviving cadetship is to avoid the ๐๐๐งฬ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐ญโthat is, the regular tendency of putting off until tomorrow what can be done today. Furthermore, he ultimately urges the Filipino youth to dream and to persevere as they press towards their aspiration in life no matter what challenges they might face. As he puts it,
