In the heart of ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐๐ฎ๐ค๐ข๐๐ง๐จ๐ง, a young lumad girl ablaze with courage and passion, ๐ /๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐ was raised in a modest neighborhood. F/Cdt Salgaโs story is one marked by challenges, triumphs, and commitment to achieving her manifested dream, of being a Fire officer. Sheโs the eldest of two kids of Mr. Ramon Salga and Mrs Nelly Salga.
Before she embarked on her journey as a cadet, F/Cdt Salga had already carved out a path of excellence. Graduating as the top 1 student in her class with a degree in Criminology from PHINMA ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ง ๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐, she demonstrated prowess in criminalistics, criminal sociology , crime detection and investigation, and law enforcement administration. She was also a Civil Service Professional passer before her cadet admission. With a heart set on serving her country, she also excelled as the Battalion Intelligence Officer, a role that further fueled her passion for law enforcement.
However, F/Cdt Salgaโs journey was not without hardships. During her third year of college, tragedy struck as her father passed away. It was a pivotal moment that forced her to confront the harsh reality of life. Yet, amidst the grief, she found strength in her father’s dream for herโto become a public safety officer. She made this her motivation to strive hard and make his father proud because she knows that he is watching from above.
Determined to honor her father’s legacy, F/Cdt Salga set her sights on the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA). After college graduation, she didnโt settle for less but continued dreaming of greater heights. She pursued admission to PNPA, driven by the desire to be a commissioned officer. For F/CDT Salga, this decision was more than just a career choice; it was a testament to her resilience and commitment to achieving her fatherโs dream for her.
Entering the hallowed halls of PNPA, her journey of self-discovery began. Through the rigors of training, she learned the value of humility and the importance of embracing challenges wholeheartedly. She always empties her cup and accepts everything she has to experience because she believes that each phase is an integral part of the training. Her cadetship was also guided by the saying โ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐.โ She cherished every moment of her cadetship as she believed that you could only experience this part of the training once. So give it your best shot, because you have only one chance to do it.
Central to her journey was the memory of her late fatherโa guiding light that fueled her motivation and inspired her to push beyond her limits. His passing may have been a significant loss, but it was also a catalyst for her transformation into a great leader.

As she rose through the ranks, her path served as an inspiration to her fellow cadets and aspiring law enforcers. Her motto, “๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐,” encapsulates her unconditional faith and determination. Through dedication and perseverance, she achieved the unthinkable, ascending to the prestigious award of being the ๐๐จ๐ฉ ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ก๐ข๐๐, ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ง.
