Meet Cadet First Class Aldwin Christian D. Bartolome from San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. From a young age, Cadet Bartolome already knew what he wanted — to follow in the footsteps of his role model, his father, and become a police officer. But beyond admiration, he carried in his heart a deep and personal calling: to serve the nation, to be a force for justice, especially for the poor and the unheard.
“To be a good leader, one must be a follower first.” Something Cadet Bartolome has been believing in even before he got into the academy. Now, as a First Class Cadet of Delta Company, Cadet Bartolome has grown into a leader who balances discipline with compassion. He has become not only a responsible and principled upperclassman but also a dependable “kuya” to his underclass — firm when needed, but always approachable. He embodies the saying: “Leadership is not about power, but about service and presence.
For him, wearing the maroon uniform is not about authority — it’s about empathy, integrity, and the courage to do what is right.
