𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝘼𝙔𝘼𝙂 𝘿𝙄𝙒𝘼: 𝘼 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚

In the annals of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA), amidst the ebb and flow of time, one class emerged, etching its name in the hallowed halls of the academy’s history. This is the chronicle of the Layag-Diwa Class of 2024, a saga of resilience, fortitude, and unwavering commitment to the service of the nation.

𝙈𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙐𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙙 (2019-2020)

The journey commenced with the release of the 2019 PNPA Cadet Admission Test results, marking the first step for aspiring guardians of the law. Despite unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the Taal Volcano eruption, the application process persisted, a testament to the tenacity of the applicants. Amidst disruptions and delays, the Layag-Diwa Class of 2024 emerged, ready to embark on their noble quest.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙙 (𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 15 – 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 3, 2020)

Orientation beckoned as the cadets-to-be delved into the intricacies of academy life, forging bonds and preparing themselves mentally for the arduous journey ahead. The halls echoed with anticipation as they absorbed the values and principles that would guide them through their cadetship.

𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙍𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙨 (𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 3, 2020)

With a resounding roar, the cadetship program commenced, heralding the arrival of 306 new cadets into the esteemed academy. Among them, a diverse array of individuals, united in their dedication to serve and protect. The commandant’s orders rang clear, signaling the beginning of a rigorous training regimen that would shape them into leaders of tomorrow.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙙 (𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 – 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 2020)

Amidst trials and tribulations, the cadets weathered the storm, immersing themselves in the crucible of the Breaking Period. Here, amidst physical and mental challenges, they honed their skills and forged bonds that would endure a lifetime. Yet, amidst the triumphs, tragedy struck, as the loss of two cadets cast a solemn shadow over their journey.

𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙍𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙨 (𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 5, 2020)

With pride in their hearts and determination in their eyes, the Layag-Diwa Class of 2024 embraced their role as part of the cadet corps, demonstrating their readiness to uphold the academy’s esteemed traditions.

𝙋𝙧𝙚-𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙍𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙨 (𝙁𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙮 24, 2021)

As the years passed, the cadets grew in stature and strength, overcoming every obstacle in their path. With heads held high, they marched towards recognition, their spirits unbroken, their resolve unwavering.

𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙖𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 (2021-2023)

From grueling summer courses to specialized training programs, the Layag-Diwa Class of 2024 pushed themselves to the limit, mastering the arts of law enforcement and internal security operations. Each milestone, a testament to their dedication and sacrifice.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙪 𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 6, 2023)

A moment of pride as the graduating class embarked on their next chapter, selected to serve in various bureaus, 209 of them choose the Philippine National Police (PNP), 13 in Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and 12 in Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). Each cadet poised to make their mark on the nation’s landscape as future leaders and public safety officers.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙏𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (2024)

And so, as the final tion dawned, Starting From 306 Cadets, Layag-Diwa Class of 2024 was refined to 234 strong Graduating Class who stood on the precipice of greatness. With hearts filled with gratitude and eyes set on the horizon, they bid farewell to the academy, ready to embrace their roles as guardians of the Long Maroon Line.

In the end, theirs was a journey of valor and sacrifice, a testament to the indomitable spirit of the Filipino cadet. As they ventured forth into the unknown, the echoes of their legacy reverberated through the halls of the PNPA, inspiring generations yet to come. For in their hearts, they carried the torch of honor, lighting the way for a brighter tomorrow.
