Bugle Call (2009)

The TAGAPAGTANGGOL Class of 1986 graduated when the country was in political turmoil. But despite such eventualities, PNPA has produced this class, physically and intellectually competent to serve the country without indifference and reservations.

Many say public safety is the most exhausting yet least rewarding job of all. Public service is a labor of love. People in the service do everything not for monetary gain but for personal satisfaction with the knowledge that he has given the community a dedicated service. Public servants might be disheartened by the disappointments of service. But for them as Lakans, they were trained to be stable amidst pressures; those disappointments are but daily challenges and aspirations that pushed them forward and urged them to go on. Little by little, they stepped forward, upward, towards the peak of success.

The TAGAPAGTANGGOL Class of 1986 had 104 graduates and produced 18 star-rank officers across the tri-bureau, with 80 original members still living. This class also produced the current chairman of PNPAAAI, Lakan Gilberto DC Cruz, who also holds a government position as the Undersecretary of the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission.
