The journey of PNPA Tagapamagitan Class of 2013 began on October 19, 2008, with 19,111 hopeful cadet aspirants taking the PNPA Cadet Admission Test (PNPA-CAT), all vying for a spot in the prestigious Long Maroon Line.

Through rigorous screening, 365 cadets officially became part of the class—338 on May 1, 2009, and 27 late receptionists on May 15, 2009. The class underwent the 45-day Breaking Period, officially joined the Cadet Corps PNPA, and eventually 269 proud graduates marched at Camp General Mariano N. Castañeda, Silang, Cavite on March 22, 2013, officially becoming the PNPA Tagapamagitan Class of 2013.

During the graduation ceremony, Police Cadet Jhon Felix Pascual was awarded the Presidential Kampilan for graduating Number 1 in the class, while Jail Cadet Christian Javier received the Vice Presidential Kampilan for graduating Number 2.

The class name, Tagapamagitan, meaning mediator, symbolizes the class’s enduring mission to bridge the government and the people, ensuring justice, public safety, and peace.
