Lanao Del Sur- Alagang HINIRANG Lakan Bangsamoro Chapter of PNPA Class 2021, in partnership with Kapatagan MPS, recently organized a heartwarming event that touched the lives of many. On April 13, 2023, with the support of the unit’s stakeholders they held a FREE IFTAR program at Sitio Liang-Kalantimon, Brgy. Daguan, Kapatagan, Lanao del Sur, where they provided delicious meals to our Islam brothers and sisters in the said community. The program was spearheaded by Plt Chervil L Ferenal, the Chief of Police and a proud member of the abovementioned class.
This event was not just about sharing food, but about sharing kindness and goodness that brings joy to everyone. The community was overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciation for the thoughtful gesture. This simple act of service touched the hearts of many and brought a sense of togetherness and camaraderie. As Mohammad Ali once said, “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth”.
The HINIRANG Class of 2021 commitment to serving others and their desire to make a difference in their community is truly inspiring. It is acts like these that remind us of the importance of kindness and generosity, and the impact they can have on those around us.
