Innovation refers to the process of creating and implementing new ideas, methods, or technologies that result in improved products, services, or processes. This 44th PNPA Commencement Exercises of MASIDTALAK Class of 2023 implores this thinking.

The entry and exit of the mace in the graduation ceremony symbolize the authority and power of the university and are typically carried by the highest-ranking academic official, such as the university president or chancellor. Indeed, Presidential Decree 1780, providing PNPA with its academic charter and delivering the academy’s status as a state university and the premier educational institution of the country’s national police force was met. PNPA as a higher educational institution (a university) mandated to provide quality education and training in the realms of continuous research, advanced studies, and progressive leadership; NOT a police training school or a police organization for that matter, it is a university.

In like manner, one thing for sure that extended the joy of achieving something is the proud parents. Side by side, they received the diploma from the President of the Philippines, His Excellency, Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr. First time in the academy’s existence of 26 years. This was more likely patterned with the graduation rites of the US Coast Guard Academy; into which no less than the Director of PNPA’s son (EJ Noble) was a graduate of the prestigious institution belonging to USCGA Class of 2021.

USCGA graduation rites also observe the entry and exit of its mace.
